At The Hakala Law Group, we made a commitment to contribute to not only the non-profit organizations that our clients have created and manage, but also to various other public benefit organizations, all in an effort to strengthen the communities in which we live and work.
Through our commitment and contributions to pro bono work, non-profit organizations, and charitable activities, it is our belief that we can all work together to strengthen our society, assist the disadvantaged, and give to others who might not normally have access to such resources. The Hakala Law Group was founded by Mr. Hakala who has and continues to serve on Boards and Advisory Boards of several non-profit entities. All members of the firm are strongly encouraged to carry this same commitment of public service and to incorporate support of their community both into their legal practice and their daily lives. This dedication continues today through the firm’s charitable and pro bono efforts.
Our hands-on attitude is exemplified not only through our philanthropic measures, but also through our daily lives. For example, our members have and continue to serve the interests of large-scale homeless shelters, orphanages, various non-profit scholarship funds, academic institutions, and the interests of disadvantaged children. We have identified the significance of applying our knowledge, experience, and resources to assist those in need. We’ve dedicated countless hours to providing no-cost services and will continue to do so as part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to doing what it can to better our society. We believe this leads to more engaged, well-rounded lawyers, who are better integrated in our civic fabric. We also welcome lawyers with young families, and recognize that such individuals often bring greater intensity and focus than those working in a less-supportive environment.
